G-Watch is currently conducting Problem-Solving Sessions for PRO-Health in all its 7 core local sites and 6 sites of its core partner organizations.
Problem-Solving Session (PSS) is part of G-Watch’s post- monitoring activities that serves as a space for the result of the monitoring and preliminary analysis and recommendations of the monitoring teams to be presented to duty-bearers to generate response, additional inputs and commitments and identify common ways forward.
In PRO-Health PSS, G-Watch is convening key duty-bearers from barangays, local governments and local Department of Health offices who have the mandate to respond to the key finding and recommendations of the monitoring. The PRO-Health monitoring team and G-Watch Center will be presenting the findings and recommendations of the monitoring to generate feedback, response and commitments on the findings and recommendations of the monitoring.
Promoting Rights Organizing in Health (PRO-Health) is an initiative of G-Watch with Accountability Research Center, the Pasig City local government and other civil society groups. PRO-Health aims to strengthen transparency, participation and accountability in public health governance by building coalitions and alliances among citizens, groups, communities and government allies around health rights, and by facilitating learning and problem-solving among accountability frontliners, rights defenders and allied government champions to come up with pro-people and bottom-up solutions to systemic barriers and hurdles to reproductive, maternal, newborn and adolescent health services.
